Exploring the advances in fetal medicine
The 10th Asia Pacific Congress in Maternal Fetal Medicine is an event that seeks to explore the developments and breakthroughs within fetal medicine. A platform for medical professionals within the industry to learn and exchange insights, the congress also provides the opportunity for attendees to establish partnerships and communication channels with one another. To be held from 22 to 24 August, the event will be hosted at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Through the congress, attendees will be able to explore the developments in the early screening and diagnosis of fetal chromosomal abnormalities, non-invasive prenatal diagnostic methods, fetal therapies and so on. There will also be keynote sessions throughout the event’s duration, addressing topics such as advances in intrapartum monitoring and management of birth asphyxia, prevention of pre-eclampsia, high-risk labour, antenatal screening and pre-natal DNA testing.
Attendees can look forward to listening to the insights from a line-up of esteemed medical experts at the peak of their field. Invited speakers include Dr Arijit Biswa, Professor and Head of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the National University Hospital, Dr Richard Choy, Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Dr Sabaratnam Arulkumaran, Professor Emeritus of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St George’s University of London, and many more.
