Zouk, Enough Said
When it comes to the clubbing scene in Singapore, no name holds more sway than Zouk. It may be the grand old dame, but Zouk has constantly reinvented itself, staying at the forefront of music and nightlife culture in Singapore for nearly two decades. Considered one of the world’s top clubs, Zouk attracts the biggest international DJs and music acts. And when Grand Prix Season Singapore 2010 (GPSS 2010) begins, Zouk will once again be the centre of attraction.
Two acclaimed DJs, Frenchman Martin Solveig and Canadian Tiga will take to Zouk’s hallowed decks just for GPSS 2010. Solveig, who crafted hits like “Ebony” and “Heart of Africa”, has made his electronic funk style a mainstay at some of the biggest clubs in Paris. Tiga meanwhile, is a producer who owns his own music label and is famed for his masterful remixes of popular tracks.
Catch these household names at Zouk during GPSS 2010, and on 23 and 26 Sep, the first 500 Grand Prix ticket holders will gain free entry to Zouk’s Velvet Underground. Throughout the GPSS, ticket holders will also enjoy 1-for-1 drinks at the achingly hip Zouk Wine Bar. A closing party will rock the end of GPSS 2010 at Zouk with a special guest DJ.
