If you heart fashion and the world, Fashionquake Aid 2011 is the perfect opportunity to do your bit for charity, in style.

Fashionquake Aid 2011 makes its debut in Singapore one week before the F1 weekend. Dedicated to the recent disaster in Japan, this fashion festival celebrates the power women have to heal the world. Unlike traditional fashion shows that are only accessible to industry insiders, Fashionquake Aid 2011 is open to all women who love fashion! Instead of front row VIPs, this event aims to fill the best seats with women from all walks of life.

In a friendly fashion faceoff, top industry experts from Brazil, France, Italy, Japan, Russia, Singapore, UK and USA will unite in the World Runway Styling Match. Each country’s dream team will be made of one stylist, one hair and makeup artist, and five female models. Working with a selection of brands from casual to luxury labels, the teams must showcase their unique sense of street style. The winners will be awarded S$100,000, which will go towards disaster relief activities.

Besides a fabulous runway and dynamic stage set, special appearances by artistes, performers and secret guests have been lined up. Up to 25,000 attendees are expected at the mega-scale event, which will be broadcast internationally.
