Mid-Autumn Festival Street Light-Up

What is the event about

The playground of lights

Celebrated by people from all walks of life, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a Chinese celebration that marks the end of a harvest season.

Also known as the Lantern or Mooncake Festival, it is a day for families and friends to gather under the moonlit sky and enjoy mooncakes – a traditional delicacy made of sweet pastry filled with lotus seed paste.

There’s no better place to soak in the festivities and celebration than in Chinatown. Be enthralled as Chinatown’s main thoroughfare transforms into a sea of colourful decorations, lanterns and mesmerising light displays.
