See original Tintin art materials up close
For the first time in Singapore and anywhere else in Southeast Asia, and hot on the heels of last year's Steven Spielberg blockbuster, The Adventures of Tintin, you can check out rarely seen original stamps and other philatelic materials on Belgium’s most famous reporter. The collection comes directly from the Museum Voor Communicatie in the Netherlands and L’Adresse Musée de La Poste in France. A nice addition is the “Know The Cast” section of the display which focuses on lesser known characters like Chan Chong-Chen, who appears a few times in the Tintin books. Opening times for the Singapore Philatelic Museum on Mondays are from 1-7pm.
