Singapore Dining - Restaurants, Local Dishes & Other Cuisines

Thai Chic

Contemporary, classy and really Thai – that’s the impression you get when you step into Kha. Nestled in a quiet leafy alcove, the restaurant is designed to exude the comfort of a traditional Thai home, and it does so with incredible style.

Furnished with a palette of antique bronze and wooden finishes, the clever fusion of Thai elements with modern touches draws a beautiful parallel to the food they serve.  The menu boasts of an impressive plethora of beloved Thai classics with a contemporary twist. Put together by a brigade of chefs hailing from diverse regions in Thailand, each dish is a sophistically presented with a beautiful harmony of tastes and textures.

To keep the food authentic, the chefs make weekly trips to the famed Golden Mile market to get their hands on the freshest and finest Thai produce. Some of the signatures from the kitchen are Hor Muk Salmon (spicy grilled salmon soufflé), Bour Thod Goong (deep fried shrimp and pepper leaf in red curry tempura with a tamarind dipping sauce), and Gaeng Kiew Wah Poo Nim (green curry with soft shell crabs, roasted apple, eggplants and young coconut).

For those seeking a quiet enclave, a private dining room is also available. Affixed with dim lighting and the warm glow of tealight candles, the private room offers an exclusive yet wonderfully relaxing setting for an intimate party of up to 10 persons.
