The Cliff

The Cliff

All Buckled Up for Romance

Set in stunning interiors with commanding views of the South China Sea, The Cliff features a show kitchen, cascading water features and a split-level platform built over lush jungle. It is an alfresco haven for connoisseurs of exquisite seafood and fine wines, complemented by excellent service. Offering contemporary cuisine inspired by the sea, guests can experience the seasonal best from around the world nightly.

Meticulously created by renowned Japanese designer, Yasuhiro Koichi, The Cliff’s interiors combine the powerful touches of glass, light, stone and water. The restaurant welcomes guests with an impressive entrance passage over water, with columns of glass glowing from gentle candle-light on one side and a long water curtain wall on the other.

Three specially designed balls of sculptured glass with bubbling water lead the way into the main dining area. On the left, an infinity bar boasts enchanting views of the sunset over the South China Sea, and the illumination of lights from distant ships in the night sky. Over in the state-of-the-art show kitchen, Chef de Cuisine, Yew Eng Tong and his chefs can be seen busy preparing their culinary delights.

In the main dining area, tables are set to offer different dining requirements.  The square tables surrounding the show kitchen, offer intimate dining for two. The lower cantilever balcony platform with bench-like tables offers magnificent seaviews, whereas the large square table with an overhanging modern interpretation of a chandelier is perfect for a social gathering of friends and colleagues. There is also have a semi-private room that sits in a quiet pavilion over shallow moving waters for private dining.
