From 4 to 7 October 2011, four of India's most celebrated chefs joined some of the most renowned names in the culinary scene in the Global Chef Exchange 2011 in Singapore.
Over four days, Grand Corporate Chef Hemant Oberoi – The Taj Mahal Palace & Towers, Mumbai; Executive Chef Anurudh Khanna - The Park, New Delhi; Chef Kunal Kapoor - Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon of Masterchef India fame and Senior Executive Chef Manisha Bhasin - ITC Maurya, New Delhi were introduced to the flavours that define Singaporean cuisine. From street food to fine dining, the culinary conference took them on a food trail, introducing them to local spices, smells and sights.
The melting pot of chefs wined and dined, and also engaged in cooking workshops and culinary demonstrations with chefs from some of Singapore’s critically acclaimed restaurants. As part of the exchange, the visiting chefs created their own Singapore-inspired signature dishes and recipes. Check out what they got up to and get a taste of their enriching culinary experiences.
