Part museum, part art gallery and part science centre, the Singapore Discovery Centre is truly one of a kind. Its mission is to inspire a desire in the locals to contribute to Singapore's future, through the sharing of the Singapore Story in an interactive and interesting way.
Where Singapore comes alive
Founded in 1998, the centre has an XD Theatre that boasts the latest technology in 4D simulation rides. You'll definitely want to check out its main offerings: the iWERKS Theatre, which sports a five-storey high movie screen with a powerful sound system, and the Crossfire Paintball arena.
Where Singapore comes alive
The Discovery Centre also has a virtual shooting gallery and a crisis simulation theatre. Be sure to take a look at The Gateway, which presents Singapore's history in the style of a music video, while youths can explore the On Location Reporter to experience the thrill of broadcast journalism.
