They are mostly free and highy popular with locals. Specially created for merry-making locals and visitors to revel in are events such as the romantic bumboat parade, spectacular aerial shows, magic shows (believe it or not, in 2009, globally renowned Singaporean magician duo JC Sum and Magic Ning Babe set a Guinness World Record with an unprecedented 15 grand illusions in 5 minutes), various music festivals and themed parties, all set across magnificent river views.

While there, there are also specially-priced seductive cocktails, dining promotions, one-for-one deals and a quintessential food and wine festival to look out for wining and dining options specially catered for the festival.
