Set in a tropical rainforest environment that’s inhabited by over 3,000 animals in natural spacious habitats, the Singapore Zoo offers an ecological adventure like no other in Southeast Asia. What’s more, if you are game, you could choose to go for a jungle breakfast with the orang utans or attend one of the up-close feeding sessions.
When dusk falls at the Night Safari, it signals the start of day for some 1,000 nocturnal animals. If you
didn’t know better, the animal world is very active under
the cover of darkness. At the Night Safari, you’ll
get a glimpse of what they are up
to behind those shadows.
The Jurong Bird Park is a sanctuary to over 4,000 feathered creatures, across some 380 bird species. It has
one of the largest collections of birds in the world with a series of giant aviaries that have been designed
to replicate the natural habitats of birds. Step into one of these aviaries and you’ll have the chance to
view a wide range of colourful birds
up-close. Flock there to witness it for yourself.
The Merlion, a celebrated tourist icon in Singapore, is a mystical creature that represents the city’s humble origins. Spotting a lion’s head and a fish body, this national symbol can be found at the Merlion Park watching over the Singapore River.
