Our city, your global shopping mall. Whether you are looking to indulge, scout for uncommon threads, or simply add that stylish piece to your wardrobe, you can find it all in fashion-forward Singapore

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

For the best in luxury, drop by the Louis Vuitton Island Maison store at Marina Bay Sands®, the first Maison concept store in Southeast Asia. Its nautical-inspired glass and crystal pavilion is a sight to behold, as are its current collections, curated books, and artworks.

For the fashionistas, Proenza Schouler is a must. The New York-based fashion label has set up shop at Marina Bay Sands®, its first international outpost out of the United States, with a full collection of highly covetable clothes and bags.

Malls along Orchard Road

Of course, the prime shopping district is Orchard Road, and deservedly so, with innumerable retailers offering products and services. This 2.2 kilometre-long street is home to famous flagships such as H&M, Forever 21 and Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as varied malls both fun and sleek.

There’s ION Orchard, which houses boutiques that span every budget, from designer label Prada to fast fashion giant Uniqlo.

At 4,600 square feet, the revamped Coach boutique at Wisma Atria is the biggest in Southeast Asia, carrying the region’s most extensive men’s collection.

Just down the Orchard strip is Paragon, with an upmarket selection of stores. Ladies will adore hard-to-find beauty wares sourced by Escentials. For contemporary luxury womenswear, check out home-grown favourite Raoul at Robinsons@Heeren.

The grand dame of them all is the iconic Club 21 flagship store at Four Seasons Hotel, carrying established and edgy labels from Alexander McQueen to Thom Browne.

Indulge your geeky side at all-in-one megastore Mustafa Centre at Little India. Besides an extensive range of electronics at highly competitive prices, you can find just about anything under the sun in this sprawling destination that’s open 24 hours.

Quaint Stores at Haji Lane & Tiong Bahru

Also worth a visit is the historical Arab Quarter, which has hip cafés, eateries and boutiques. The best shopping haunt here is Haji Lane, filled with independent multi-label stores, such as Mondays Off and Soon Lee.

For quaint fashion trinkets and homeware, Tiong Bahru has little shops like Strangelets while literary types can pick up a tome at BooksActually for local literature or Woods in the Books for a wonderful children’s selection. There’s even The French Bookshop, which any Francophile will love.

So visit an upmarket galleria; take a stroll down the city’s shopping precinct, and scour cool boutiques for a treat-filled afternoon. We’ll leave it up to you.
