After its return in 2014, the Singapore International Festival of the Arts (SIFA) 2016 is back with a renewed sense of optimism. This year’s theme is all about looking for the potential in things or people, be it in performers or audiences. And the former can be found in unexpected places. Look for the Shakespearean potential in Japan-Singapore production Sandaime Richard or that of 75-year-old flamenco dancer Antonio Vargas, who continues to pursue his passion in Singapore. With over 20 shows held at the festival this year, be reinvigorated with fresh insights as you indulge in the spectrum of performances.
