International headliners, world-class productions and glamorous parties. Once again, Grand Prix Season Singapore went full-throttle with a vibrant, action-packed season of exciting experiences from entertainment, nightlife, dining, shopping and more.
This year, Grand Prix Season Singapore 2013 got everyone to “Live Louder Than Life” with cutting-edge concepts such as Bed Invasion: 50’s Miami White at Tanjong Beach Club, with Thailand’s Bed Supperclub bringing the glitz of 1950’s Miami, an all-day carnival atmosphere and all-night party to the shores of Sentosa. French private art museum Singapore Pinacothèque de Paris presented a pop-up exhibition of the great masters like Rembrandt, Picasso, Modigliani and more. After-parties like the Podium Lounge and Amber Lounge brought race-goers from paddock to party: think celebrity guests, GP drivers, supermodels and vibrant fashion shows. Local e-retailer Public Garden created a pop-up called Hidden Finds which showcased local brands.
The 2013 FORMULA ONE SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX got off to an exhilarating start, with race tickets selling at breakneck speed. The race saw Sebastian Vettel emerge victorious, extending his title lead. In-circuit, superstar headlining acts like Rihanna, The Killers, Big Bang and Justin Bieber delighted race and non-race fans alike.
Views of the race and the iconic Singapore skyline were taken in from rooftop bars like 1-Altitude and Ku Dé Ta, while restaurants like Bacchanalia, OCF Singapore and Artichoke Café and Bar served up brand new race-themed dining concepts.
